Well, this was originally entitled "Bombs Away!!!" as I was unloading some things on people today, but a more appropriate title (even if the picture doesn't really seem to fit) is "Lightening Strikes".

My brother's plane was struck by lightening this morning, melting the wing tips. He said it passed through the left wing and came out the right, and no one can understand why it didn't fry the engine. He said he looked out and saw burn marks. It's actually still flyable; when they reached Atlanta they the plane apart and inspected it, and he flew it back home in time for dinner. I think they put some kind of special metal tape over the damage.
