Oh, I had fun with this shot.

First, I adjusted auto levels, which mainly enhanced / deepened the colors.
Next I took a cutout copy of the moon at full resolution and set it aside.
Then, I reduced the main image to its final 800x600 proportions, dragged the moon into the downsized image, and voila!

Heh. It feels like cheating.
