I just realized this morning how ironic it is that the mug I drink my coffee from every morning
depicts Van Gogh's "Starry Night". Perhaps it has secret powers that neutralize the caffeine?
All right, not very ironic I guess.
But when the caffeine kicks in the effect is extra psychedelic.
That's probably why I thought it was ironic in the first place.

A later note -- I got so tired of winter and wanted to post a special picture yesterday that I ran out and bought
a bouquet of flowers, something I never do unless it's a gift for someone else.
It's amazing the joy a $10 handful of color can bring.
Makes me wonder if I secretly enjoy sitting in a dismal sepia funk, that I don't do it more often?
If you have time, please feel welcome to visit my 'bouquet' gallery. Here's a sample:
I saw 5 tulips in a bunch today. The blooms were already blown out & about to fall &\bu what amazed me was that I felt like stamping my feet & pouting..
Those bunches of yours have made me feel much better, & a cup of that java would make me feel better yet.
I love your rationalization for flowers, and they turned out fabulous, for look how many people you've cheered up for $10! Great tones on the coffee, even if it is late at night. Not a bad idea to have a cup....
