Awaiting Fate
Day 290

"I was framed," Edwin Guinness insisted, gazing out of his cell window as he waited for a clemency
call from the governor on what most likely will be his last night on earth.

The crowd outside Edwin's cell is growing, even though an icy fog and sleet persists as darkness falls.
While some are involved in a candlelight vigil, other factions of the crowd are growing restless.
"Off with his head!" they shout. "Put him on ice!" cries another.

It's not looking good for poor Edwin.

Back in my drinking days, that is what I drank! In large quantities! Still like the stuff, although only now and again! Beautifully lit shot, Carmen.

This is just hysterical. What a great story line! Too much, indeed! Off with his head!

First thing that came to my mind:

"She's come undone
She didn't know what she was headed for
And when I found what she was headed for
Mama, it was too late"

Now the funny thing is.. I would have thought the same thing when I saw the bottle in the crate.. the little "window".. That should by no means be a .. comfort.

:D
