The Breath before Winter

The sun came out this morning for a few minutes and for that time it was like spring.
I even saw a foolhardy bulb peeping its head a few inches above the ground.
Then the gloom came back, and it got cold again.

The picture above isn't the best picture I took; I was actually going to use one of the ones below
but I ended up liking the color in this one over the others.

Great warm tones to fight off the chill. I'm happy you could find a nice fall leaf this late in the season.

I really like how you have framed this image... the splash of water adding a sparkle to the color. Very nice... I also liked the images below, particularly the middle, for the texture and dark earth tones.
