Drips and Dips
Day 210

The sun came out and it warmed up a bit today.

At some point I got this notion that I wanted to get a picture of all the melting going on. How hard could that be?
I did get a few decent pictures, but the ratio of good shots to bad was...well, let's just say it was pretty bad.

I took my tripod outside intending to be somewhat professional, but the tree I was setting up next to ended up losing
half its load of snow by my being a klutz and not minding where I was swinging the tripod legs.
~-~-~-~-~
When I finally came in the camera was on its strap around my neck, still attached to the tripod,
which was dangling and hitting me in the legs.
So go my attempts to be professional.

I did start a new gallery with some of the pictures though, called Ice Ornaments.
A couple of the pictures in it are shown below:

I also started on the last step of finishing off the hearth I've been working on -- the mantel:

Very well done! I enjoyed the description of your photo shoot, and it sounded oh so familiar to me.
This is beautiful, I love the DOF and the reflection of the background in the drop.
