My brother, and the first lighting of the wood stove.

The wood stove has been sitting there for about seven years, collecting dust.
The first few years there was no hearth, then I finally got one built about two years ago.
It sat for another year or so waiting for the tiling to be finished,
a project which I finished a few months ago:



The hearth is still waiting to be grouted, but we just couldn't wait any longer.
There was just something about the first snow of the season that made the time seem right.

Now if I can just manage to grout the tile in oh, say, the next seven years(!)
