The espresso maker is broken, so I had to come up with a different way to get my caffeine fix today.

I do have a Press Pot (carafe), but it's been some time since I used it.

The main problem is that yes, I know it takes coffee and hot water, and the hot water pretty much goes up to the top, but...how much coffee?

I'll put in what I think I remember. And then a little more. Well, maybe a little more. There.
And now, how long do I let it steep before pressing down the plunger?

The coffee smell is so strong and rich my stomach is getting uneasy.
