Garden Spider (Argiope)

The other scary shot of the day (which I actually ended up not taking, though I considered it) was when the serrated tomato knife slipped from my hand and my fingers closed over the blade just enough to give me a little nip.
Funny, that instead of swooning at the sight of blood I now wonder if I should go get the camera!

Nice catch Carmen (the spider and the knife...) I'm thinking you can join the obscessed club when your first thought is to take a snap of blood pouring out of yourself :)

Fabulous photo....I found out what you mean when I saw a scorpion in the soap dish while I was taking a bath and actually considered going for the camera.....my sanity quickly returned and I killed it instead.
