Oh, it's Super Moon night.
I like this one through the branches of the trees.

I totally admit that I got so enchanted by patterns of the branches I pretty much ignored the moon, lol.
But I really like how this turned out.

It's kind of cloudy here tonight so thought I better get it close to the horizon.
Shortly after this it was just a misty disk through clouds.

Today is also "Found Mingo Day!"

22 years ago tonight, a little five week old black and white kitten ran in front of my car on a frosty road in the middle of nowhere.
That he was running away from home (from a farm about a half mile away) at such a young age should give you an idea of his intrepid temperament.
He was about 14 ounces when I picked him up, and grew to be a lean 20 lbs.


He's been gone just over four years now, but 11/14 will always be
"Found Mingo Day" to me.
