It's been raining heavily for nearly a day now, and people are literally surfing in the street down the block.

In this picture, the water is in a retention ditch, and about where I took this it had breached the banks and was flowing into the ditch, and the road was under water for about 400 feet or more beyond that.

It is still raining, and coming down hard.
I don't think the effects of Ike have even reached us yet...

We had a break in the clouds for about an hour or so this afternoon, which is when I went out and took this.
