Lyrurus tetrix britannicus - Scotland, Wales and North-England;
Lyrurus tetrix tetrix - Scandinavia to South-France and North-Italy to Northeast-Siberia;
Lyrurus tetrix viridanus - Southeast-Russia to Southwest-Siberia;
Lyrurus tetrix baikalensis - Southeast-Siberia to North-Mongolia and Northwest-Manchuria (China);
Lyrurus tetrix mongolicus - East-Kyrgyzstan and Northwest-China to East-Kazakhstan, Southcentral-Siberia and West-Mongolia;
Lyrurus tetrix ussuriensis - East-Siberia and Northeast-China to Northwest-Korean Peninsula.
