Geothlypis trichas insperata - South-Texas (Southcentral-USA);
Geothlypis trichas campicola - interior West-Canada, Northwest- and Northcentral-USA;
Geothlypis trichas arizela - coastal West-Canada, West-USA and Northwest-Mexico;
Geothlypis trichas occidentalis - Westcentral-USA;
Geothlypis trichas sinuosa - North-California (West-USA);
Geothlypis trichas scirpicola - Southwest-USA and Northwest-Mexico;
Geothlypis trichas chryseola - Southwest- to Southcentral-USA and Westcentral-Mexico;
Geothlypis trichas melanops - Central-Mexico;
Geothlypis trichas modesta - West-Mexico;
Geothlypis trichas chapalensis - Lake Chapala in Jalisco (Westcentral-Mexico).
