Dactylopsila trivirgata trivirgata - West-New Guinea, Aru and Waigeu Islands;
Dactylopsila trivirgata kataui - South-New Guinea;
Dactylopsila trivirgata melampus - Southeast-New Guinea;
Dactylopsila trivirgata picata - Northeast-Queensland, Australia.
