2006 Vintage Festival at Barber Motorsports Park

The second annual Vintage Festival was held at the Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds AL from 19-21 Oct 2006. Sir John Surtees was Grand Marshall for the event. Surtees won seven world championships on motorcycles (MV Agusta) in the 50's. In 1959, he won every 350 and 500 cc race for the season. He retired from motorcycle racing in 1960 at age 25 and switched to car racing. He went on to win a World Championship driving a Ferrari.
