Scholastic art shows are generally worthwhile, partly because of their energy, partly because it's possible to see strong talent emerging, and partly because the art teachers' ideas for projects are often creative in their own right. The images here will predominantly be from elementary and secondary schools, including the private schools that abound in Addison County, but may also include the work of Middlebury College students (the photographer lives in Middlebury, and his wife works at the college). If their studio art is clearly at a different level, as I suspect it will be, I'll put those pictures in a gallery of their own.
