The swamp snow and ice was a nice surprise, Mainly these pictures came from Addison County's Cornwall-Salisbury Swamp, the largest contiguous wetland in New England. Many years it averts millions of dollars in flood damage by serving as an overflow area for Otter Creek (also represented here), Vermont's longest river (about 90 miles).
