This isn't a farm road, really, but it's a road traveled by a lot of farmers. It runs through the Addison County Field Days parking lot. It illustrates the way wet weather, as in August of 2008, can turn Addison County unpaved roads into quagmires, if they use a large proportion of the county's famous clay in their roadbases. Field Days solved the problem for its access road, though not for the parking lot as a whole, by bringing in crushed limestone--fortunately widely available, and especially plentiful at the Omya marble quarry (see gallery on Omya annual open quarry day),
