The Osprey nested on Channel Markers along the Lake. The only way to access these nests are by boat and you have to be crafty to get close. Dad would take the boat up river from the nest, giving them a wide berth. Then he'd cut the engine and let the current drift the boat closer to the nest. This gave you the best chance to get close to the nest before the birds flew the coop.
