Huntsville Botanical Gardens


I had the opportunity to visit the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama the other day and was impressed with not only thier butterfly population but their butterfly house as well. Billed as the largest butterfly house in the nation, the building covers about 9,000 square feet; has a waterfall; a wading creek stocked with native, freshwater fish; and a butterfly population well into the hundreds. Here are a few pictures from my visits.
