Hi there Judy , I have a photo of a Australian moth . Because I have used the image in a number of paintings that I have done over a number of years, I thought it might be a good idea to finally identify the moth . I had for years thought its identifying name was a Richmond moth . I know of the Richmond butterfly, but I know that the image I have is not a butterfly. The Blackbutt Singers Inc, is a non-profit volunteer musical group from the Blackbutt region in Queensland. We would like to seek permission to have a small embroidered version of your photograph of the Meadow Argus moth appliqued to our new orange shirts since this is a moth that is common in our region.
