Trying some low-light slow-shutter speed shots today, not something I've played around with
much before. I'm off to India later this month, and I'm going to be taking a tripod with
me, just in case I get the chance to take some evening shots, shots in temples etc.
This is on my normal tripod, but I found an ultra-lightweight Velbon tripod in the
supermarket, which seems to be able to take my D70, just about! The legs are a bit like
sturdy radio ariels! They flex a little with the big camera, but the pictures seem to be OK,
at least indoors. It folds up to a small package about a foot long, so it's ideal for travelling.
Now I'm inspired to go out and shoot a few night scenes...
