W O N D E R F U L !
Just awesome, Sean!
I love this image, and I think we can agree that without the 'bad weather', the composition would just not be there. As it is, this one has a perfect poise (in my 'dancer' analogy, this is a little pirouette -- or whatever they call it when a ballerina stands on tiptoe).
Very beautiful landscape and composition.
What a landscape, Sean! The weather gave you the ingredients for a great image, and you make the most of it with your very fine eye for rhythms and patterns. It is as if heaven and earth are echoing each other. And the color, so fragile and delicate, blends it all together.
A great set of images despite the weather, Sean,
I'm sorry you couldn't make it down this way ~ it would have been nice to meet up.
As it happens, I was pretty busy too though!
I look forward to seeing more of your work as and when I get the chance.
All the best,
Picture with a strange kind of beauty.
