This is the first of my series of Missouri petroglyps. I worked pretty hard to take these in natural light at the end of the day. I felt it was the only way to capture the feelings I had about the native american carvers, as they touch us across time. If anyone knows of petroglyph locations in the Buffalo River Valley, I would definitely be interested in photographing them. I promise I will not reveal locations or my guides to these precious messages from the past.
