Hi I'm Kathy from NE Iowa and I raised Croad Black Langshans for a few years and had to move so sold all. I'm settled in again and this bird Moonpie looks so close to my birds what breed is he? I looked around for some Java's as clean in pure breed terms as can be of course and you were the closest. Could you please take the time to send me a letter and let me know how you are doing in the chicken raising business. I'm looking for a gentle breed as this is the strong gene in the Langshan line. I had very good experiences with them but still want to try the Java blacks. Do you have any I could buy? How much? and any news from the chicken pen you have I enjoy your photography and visited the compton, jasper, ponca area and enjoyed it. Do you have a family and a farm or are you busy in business. Would like to hear from you soon. My address is Kathy Sonderleiter 902 Hwy. 150 Fayette, Iowa 52142. My brother and I were hoping to settle in down in that region to get to know folks and help the needy in the area but it seemed they were being helped by the government and happy with it I guess the way of "community living" is no longer and the government is god to the needy. Too bad, the Lord said loving one another in Truth is Life. So we move on! Hope to hear from you soon.
