Our guide for this new venue was Roger. While we didn't find morels, we enjoyed a great walk through some of the most beautiful woodlands around. George introduced us all to the deliciously fresh crunch of Cat's briar shoots. Fungally-speaking we found, among other things, Stemonitis sp., Clavicorona pyxidata, Stereum ostrea, Polyporus squamosus, Pluteus cervinus and Phellinus rimosus.
