Although it was a very rainy weekend, some brave fungophiles showed up to join COMA's resident botany expert and friend, Carol Levine. Fungally speaking, there were some interesting finds including Psathyrella rugocephela (see photo in last week's gallery of 5/28/06 Tallman Mt. State Park), Nolanea verna (Entoloma verna) (for a photo, see Gallery 5/07/06 California Hill Multiple Use Area, Putnam Valley) , Crepidotus mollis (see photo in last week's gallery of 5/28/06 Tallman Mt. State Park), Mycena subcerulea and Cyptotrama chrysopeplum.
