Another LBM (like the Agrocybes we've been encountering) is the Spring Entoloma, Nolanea verna (formerly Entoloma verna). All Nolaneas are Entolomas, but not all Entolomas are Nolaneas. (That's what I learned from Ed Bosman at last year's Clark Rogerson COMA Foray)! Nolaneas typically exhibit a central nob or 'umbo' in mushroom-speak. They also have salmon-pink spores. In this case, another Nolanea verna growing above this one left a beautiful spore deposit on either side of the gills that were resting on the cap. Nolanea verna is terrestrial and grows in leaf litter.
