I made a work on Albatrellus sensu lato. .

Now, I work on Neoalbatrellus (Albatrellus) caeruleoporus at species level and I need samples from fresh collections put in CTAB in Eppendorf tubes that I have.
I can send you some tubes at some of you who can collect this species from the range distribution in East of America. Just advise me. If you find that species before my sending Eppendorf tubes you can put sample in small aseptic tube in freezer.

The best is to take pictures with scale who show pores and cap, and annotated the collections. You can dry rapidly after to put fresh samples in aseptic way in Eppendorf tubes with CTAB. After, I will need to work on that collections and the best is to put in official Herbarium.

The most important is to have at least one collection from Copake, New-York State or very near because the first collection of this species by Peck come from that place.

Also, I need at least one collection from that place: USA. North Carolina: « Watauga Co., Blue Ridge Mountains, Blowing Rock, Glen Mary » because one name species Polyporus holocyaneus come from that place.

I have some collections from Province of Quebec, Canada but I very need many other collections from other parts of it's East distribution (from Pensylvania to Newfoundland, I believe). I already worked on West caeruleoporus.

You can spread my announcement at other mycologists.

My goal is a scientific study with molecular and morphological features tu publish. I will aknowledge all the precious collaborators in my paper.

Thank you in advance and you can contact me: serge.au@videotron.ca

Hi Dianna,
A long time since I have heard from you, I did send some emails but they have all come back to me. I don't know if you can remember me, I did send you a dvd of some of my fungi and you were going to try and put some names to them for me, I heard from you once but no more. Anyway I will try again with my new email address which is ecsb@hotmail.co.uk
Take care,
Eddie

Had a few minutes to breathe; took in your website/photos. (Knew there'd be good stuff from recent walks!).
I'm working to make it to Tallman this weekend. I have some prints, but maybe I'll send you digital.
