Honorary COMA member Gary Lincoff, author of the 'Audubon Field Guide to Mushrooms of North America', is invited every year to give us a presentation. These events are always very special, funny and informative. Last year Gary showed up as Charles Darwin and talked about the mushrooms mentioned (and not mentioned) in Darwin's 'On the Origin of Species'. This year his presentation focused on the genus Psilocybe and the history of its use as a psychoactive drug in the past right up to the present with the research of scientists from John's Hopkins University.
