Unusual for me, I didn't have a camera in hand, but fortunately our resident mycologist Roz Lowen did and so we have a great record of this wonderfully delicious and sociable event. Thank you, Roz. And I also want to thank again (on everyone's behalf) Beverly Leffers for organizing yet another successful annual COMA dinner. The food offerings by all were both generous and exotically yummy. The conversation was lively and fun. But we did miss our friends who couldn't join us at the tables this year.
Also, COMA president,Dave Rose, announced the good news about finding a place and likely time for next year's COMA FORAY in central Connecticut! It will probably be set for the third weekend in August, so mark your calendars and make a commitment to participate in this fabulous fungal foray!
More information regarding the 3-4 day event will be featured in the next 'Spores Illustrated.'
Thanks Dianna for posting the pictures. It was a great party. Thanks Beverly for organizing the party. Thanks Tom for carving the turkey. Thanks Betsy for again bring such lovely flowers for table decorations. And thanks to all the members who came and brought such great food.
