Continuing west from Reading on the Thames Walk, you will come to the village of Whitchurch. Standing on the toll bridge from Pangbourne to Whitchuch on Thames, the spring view of a backwater branch of the river with St Marys Church in the background makes for a typicl English countryside scene.
