 March 2: We're ready for some spring flowers, so we go to the store and BUY some! |
 But there is still snow around and even the lobstermen must shovel! |
 Boothbay Harbor is gray, but the reflections and boats... |

 In the off season, everything rolls up! |
 Except the wildlife...this poor gull has a broken leg. Winter is tough all around! |
 March 6: With sub-zero temps, there is sea smoke on the harbor and.... |
 ....flying down Thompson's Gut!! |
 March 7; It's below zero all day, but .... |
 ... you can't keep teenagers down even when it's cold and .... |
 ....this IS hockey weather, after all! |
 March 8: Sometimes store bought.... |
 ....tulips give lots of mileage! |
 Plop them into a pool of sunshine... |
 ...and explore the possibilities! |
 Even the pets get curious about what you're up to! |
 Hate to end on a cold note, but these strange icicles were hanging from a dock yesterday on one of the coldest days of the year! |
 March 9: We go to Brunswick and kill time over coffee and tea... |

 ....where the seats are VERY uncomfortable, but the music is heavenly! |

 March 10: We go back to Brunswick, but this time Ron goes to the concert and I go w/ Edward to try to.... |

 And we have ice here every time it thaws and refreezes! This is where Ron broke his shoulder! |
 The new garage is leaking....as the snow melts it comes in |
 between wall and cement floor! |
 But all is NOT gloom & doom: Jeanne bought us a cineraria plant.... |
 ...for our anniversary and it tells us that SPRING IS coming! |
 March 14: We go to LL's to check out the tents. |
 March 21: With Spring here, a warm fire is still needed. |
 And those GD house flowers are all we see of color! |
 And lovely it is! |
 But a warm, cozy cat is... |
 ....almost as nice, whether.... |
 ...she smiles....or not. |

 These Salty Dogs guard the wharf from the likes of us! |
