 April Fool's Day and I don't have any.... |
 ....pranks, except this one... |
...This duck was cut from his image and placed with .... |
 ....this one! April's Fools! |
And then it's back to the waterfont. Oops! Just realized it's really March 31! Oh well...APRIL FOOLS! |
It starts as a light snow on April 4, but by... |
...April 5, We get the 5th worse April snowstorm in our history. |
While the electricity is out, the cat cleans herself and (I'm glad she can 'cause without water, we can't!) .... |
 ....Ron reads by booklight. |
The next day it's as though the sun.... |
....was thrilled to be back! |
As Edward and I walk through Bath looking.... |
 ....for decent photo ops! |
April 7: We decide to make a trek to the Maine Maritime Museum.... |
....in Bath, Maine. It's a lovely place where.... |
The museum chronicles the shipbuilding history of the state and area.... |
 ...with tool displays and... |
 ...supporting businesses (banking here). |
...this is my favorite painting, but there's lots.... |
 ....to find of interest! |
The conference space is tastefully done in timber peg construction with .... |
....lovely meeting places! Good day: all in all. |
April 22: We go to Portland and drop by the Earth Day Celebrations |
Kids are everywhere enjoying the chance.... |
....to show off their skills! |
April 23: We take a trip into the White Mountains to see... |
...what the winter has done to the Swift River and find... |
 ....this lovely covered bridge... |
 ....over the river. |
 Take a look.... |
 ....up river and ..... |
 ...take a look downriver. |
Then walk across the bridge coming out... |
 ...where we began. |
It's a warm day, so the snow is melting into standing water and... |
...the bridge is pretty from other perspectives too! |
 As is the river. |
Kids are out with their Dad looking for a good place to fish. |
Lynne and Edward check out the river, then.... |
...we cross the mountains at the top with lovely blue skies and there's still snow up here! |
Bretton Woods and the Mount Washington Hotel with... |
...a railway snaking up the mountain behind. |
 ...from another perspective. |
The road marker sign explains about this historic site. |
At Silver Cascades we get to watch.... |
...a man repelling (Is that what it's called?) across the falls, then it's time to.... |
....climb down and head back. |
April 26: It's Brunswick again where the river is raging and... |
....Fort Andros Mill is gorgeous.... |
 ...inside and out ...... |
 ...in early morning sunshine! |
Even the floors reflect the age of the place and |
...the muted colors are perfect! |
Another view of the exterior and... |
....a composite of it all! Lovely!! |
