 Labor Day Weekend: On our way to Downeast, we cross the Bucksport Bridge and get a look at the new Waldo-Hancock Bridge going up |
 A stop in Castine for lunch takes us... |
 ....up the Main Street to .... |
 ...the oldest working Post Office in the US! |
 Back at the dock, Maggie checks out a 'friend.' |
 Then it's on to Jonesport...a very small working harbor further East. |
 And at the hotel the first night there are lovely reflections on the Machias River behind the motel! |
 As the evening goes along, it only gets better! |
 Day Two: Finds us in Lubec looking across the harbor to Canada and Campobello Island. |
 Lubec is an old working harbor as well. |
 Edward shoots the waterfront while Lynne and Maggie enjoy the views. |
 A drink for the pup puts Lynne on the sidewalk. |
