...or so it seems.	And as we wait, a cruise ship docks to get away from...	...the coming weather...Earl approaches!
It's amazing to watch a pilot maneuver one of these 'monsters!'	The Bay Lady plies the harbor!	Sept. 4: We ride the Boothbay Hbr Trolley
Finding a good spot to sit!	Fun, Fun, Fun!!	Then eat lunch at Boothbay's fast food establishment, Dunton's Doghouse!
Toasted cheese is always a good choice!	Next door there's a crock to explore with...	...a fellow curiosity-seeker!

....with Mom!	Marta is in studying mode.	the end...for now.....
Aug. 7: We have Lorelei for the afternoon and at the Portland Museum of Art...	she...	....flirts with her grandDad.
Good practice with a safe man!	At McClellon House she looks so small.	Stereoscope shows the toys of the 19th Century.
Look in this antique Mirror," Says Granddad.		Small again!
Then it's dress-up time at the Childrens' Museum.	But driving the firetruck is...	...her favorite...
there! Turn on the siren and slide...	...down the pole!	Then visit the turtles and....
...the bees.	And small again!	Bus she's an actress extraordinaire!
One of the Three Little Pigs who says her lines, "Not by the hair on my chinny, chin, chin," Very welll!	She loves applause!	Then it's time to pick....
a snack...	...eat and drink and...	...pretend to make snacks!
Time to leave after one more pass...	....through favorite exhibits!	A vet's office,
where the dog is washed...	...then it's outside past a culturally diverse kiddikin.	Papa stops at the Pirate Ship...
...Lorelei stops to make some music and...	...to milk the cow, then....	....it's time to meet Mom at Flatbread, but first...
....some end of day coloring!	Sept. 11: Historic day and Fall begins here.	This guy was in our car/DEAD!
"Can you count to 100, Grammie?"	We just count rope swings...never mind the misses....one hundred!!	In Fall a girl's thoughts turn to being beautiful!!
Aren't BLUE nails beautiful?!!	Studying and....	...something looks puzzling....must be math!
Foxy Wile checks out the scene!	Her jovial self!	Sept. 17: Lorelei picks out a pumpkin at Biscay Farms.

Signs of Fall....	....more....	Sept. 25: We meet the Clarke's at Brown's.
These are 'kids' who grew up with Ron, Rich and Jeanne!	And Edie comes along (Jan's good friend)!	It's a group pic...with one member cut off.
But here they are...sort of.	It's a quiet break in the activities.	Time to sit and chat.
	And Rich and Frances stop by.	Then it's lunch time at the Lobsterman's wharf.
Everyone's hungry and social!	Tom and Jan...brother and....	....sister.

....Pemaquid Light...	Tom's a lighthouse 'hunter.'	He has a 'passport' full of lighthouse visits!
Time to visit the museum.	...to take a look at a lens and...	....fishing nets...
This guy is 75 to 80 years old & 24 pounds...I should say, 'WAS.'	The surf is rough outside.	....and gulls take refuge on the rocks.
Tom climbs the light.	And gets shots from above, while...	....Edie shoots from below.
Then we stop at a local gift shop cooperative.
