Freedom Day Demonstration

People turned out in Pittsburgh on March 8 to show their support for America's troops overseas. This was billed as a Rally for Support.

		...and hats...
....let people know that these are AMERICANS!		Signs of war?
		Did someone say it was wrong to love one's country?
	What have we/will we give them to 'never forget?'

Beth, I agree that there are different ways of supporting ones country. As a former soldier it gievs me great pride to see people supporting our troops. Any time you are asked to go abroad to defend our nation it is a difficult thing. Seeing that there are people at home who wish you well is a great moral booster. Regardless of how someone may feel polictically I would hope that they would wish our soldiers the best. Anyways, you took some great pictures and I do admire.

Hello Beth, This gallery speaks volumes. You have such a keen eye for the subject at hand, not to mention your prose. I am also quite impressed with how vibrant the colors are and the sharpness of the images. Is it all taken with the Canon 1D? It is wonderful to see what a good photographer can produce with a pro-level camera. Keep shooting and thank you for sharing. BTW if you don't mind, I added a link to your 'American War' in my gallery.
