 August 4: We visit Thomas at the Boothbay Rail Museum and |
 ...there's LOTS to do! |
 And it's ALL fun! |
 There are trains of many kinds to ride. |
 Poppa and Lorelei deboard from the little red caboose. |

 Percy again. |
 Percy looks so small from here! |
 Then Thomas comes puffing from the covered road. |
 While we wait, we swing and... |
 ....get Thomas tattoes (sort of). |
 Then Thomas pulls into the station and it's our turn! |
 Marta and Lorelei pose in front of Thomas and then.... |
 ....we leave the station as Thomas is visible from our perch in .... |
 the window seat of the caboose. |
 The grounds are pretty reflected in the pond. |
 Poppa, Lorelei and Mummy sit up in the 'peanut gallery.' |
 And Grammie sees this looking toward Thomas and... |
 ....this looking out the back caboose doorway. |
 It's a fun ride that comes to an end too soon, but.... |
 Here's the caboose we rode in. |
 ...it's really fun getting up close and personal .... |
 ....with Thomas! |
 Then there are the goats nearby to.... |
 ....feed! |
 "Hold your hand out flat, so you don't get nipped," says Mom. |
 And they are anxious to be fed! |
 Lorelei gets her first engineer's hat. |
 She gets her picture taken with .....can't remember his name! They tell me it's Topham Hat!! |
 Then it's time to wave good-bye to Thomas! |
 Aug. 5: It's a less humid day,..... |
 the kind of weather that makes one feel like jumping for joy! |
 So we think about yesterday and decide we should go back! |
 Where there is more jumping.... |
 ....to do..... |
 ....in the bright sunshine! |
 And the yellow of this climbing/sliding equipment.... |
 ....mirrors the day.... |
 ....as Lorelei gets some of the 'kinks' out. |
 What fun....AGAIN! |
 Sticky!! |
 Lorelei tries her first cotton candy. |
 What would a day with Thomas be without model trains? |
 And coloring? |
 And stamp pads? |
 Percy gets his nose tweeked and then... |
 he gets a big FAT kiss! |
 Thomas is coming.... |
 ....as pretty as yesterday....maybe prettier in this day's sunshine! |
 ...with lovely reflections! |
 What a friendly face he has.... |
 ....as do these fellows. |
 Yummmmmm... |
 What a joy! |
 Two trains...both a joy to ride! |
 Then there's one last ride before we leave. |
