 On Ocean Point, it's the last weekend of summer. |
 And fall flowers are ripe and ready! |
 Even the weeds are pretty. |

 A man and his dog watch the boats pass... |
 ...as cottages fly the red, white and blue for Labor Day. |
 The beach plums are ripe and ready to taste. |

 Sept. 9: At Pemaquid there's an art class meeting to paint... |
 ....and plenty of people enjoying the views. |

 Coming through Damariscotta the storm clouds approach... |

 Then we pull over as it just dumps buckets on us! |
 Sept. 10: We head down to Portland; our day in a city! |

 We start at the museum where art classes bring people to the galleries. |
 Then to the tourist trolley outside for a trip around the city. |
 Across the street the Hay Building is distinct. |
 Then it's on to the Market where street musicians play |
 old fashioned New Orleans jazz and steel guitar! |
 They take advantage of Market Day to register voters...Obama bites the dust. |
 Bright red tomatoes fill.... |
 ....a table and tempt us! |
 The "Meter Maid" is at work....do they ever rest? |
 And on the other side of the square, people let us know that they are frustrated with the Iraq War. |
 Farmers unload their sales. |
 People sign petitions.... |
 .....and rainbow carrots fill a bin near... |
 ...these lovely peppers! |
 Sept. 11: It's a day in Wiscasset where it's starting to look like Fall. |
