June 4 finds us on the Amtrak passing Oregon businesses up & down the columbia River.	As we get closer to Portland, businesses turn to residences along the river.	Then we pass under city bridges on our way to the terminal.
We get home and Ron has to go back to work, so we...	...play w/ the pets.	And pet the cat...
Chyna is a lovely girl!	Who adopts Ron quickly.	Then the boys and girls take a nap.
Maeple is getting gray around the gills...like the rest of us!	Jordan....	...and Ron check the garden.
and has work to do...nice she can do some from home!		Then we watch some of the hockey game.
Afterwards we hop into the car to go out for...	...dinner and stand in line waiting.	Conversation at the table....
...is humorous.	June 5 starts with pets again...	"Hello, Maeple!"
Conversation too.	Chyna is part of the crowd.	but she excuses herself and goes to bed.
Outside....here is Ron & Jordan's house.	and garden.	Here is Jordan's new vehicle.
We head downtown for Saturday Market.	This guy makes and sells tops.	and this guy wants a hand-out.
Jordan checks out the jewelry.	and we check out the fleet that is in town.	The crew.
...including me!	This building is the architecture building for the University of OR.	Tootoos for sale at the market.
Colors, colors everywhere!	Ron buys Jordan an bouquet.	The tin man.
Ron and Jimmy are good friends (for a price, Ugartee; for a price!	Street people.
Then we go to Powells' bookstore.	where it is a typical Saturday...I guess.	Everything is color coded.
We meet back in the magazine section.	Then there's time for lunch at Jake's.	June 5: Ron and Ron at the supermarket.
It's backyard time!	The sun is out and it's warm!	Yup, it is!
Olive loves her 'baby!'	This was ron's Xmas gift from Marta and Lorelei...	But Olive expropriated it! She loves it!
june 5: Ron puts a stake in it!	Jordan's Ring.	June 6: We head out to Seal Cove to visit Prudy, Paul and Nick.

Livingroom...	...new kitchen.	Paul makes pizza dough with his new 'toy.'
Back in the livingroom.	Paul tosses dough.	Paul shapes pizza.
It's time to eat!	Ron and Helen.	Pizza time!
Breakfast? I don't think so.	From the livingroom.	A test run of the concrete for the counters.
kitchen.	June 7: View from diningroom.	We get ready to leave.
Paul & Prudy.at Cape Perpetua	Olive gets into the act.	This place is a botanical garden au naturel.

...beaches.	Maeple on the beach.	Haystacks on the beach.
Ron and Jordan....then....	...we stop at an art gallery owned by a friend of Prudy's.	Newport Harbor before...
....lunch...	....outside!	Then we head north on our way home.
And stop in ....	Pacific city....	So the dogs get a good run on the beach.
Surfers wetsuit dries on side of truck.	Down the beach at Pacific City.	Tree trunks on the beach.
We see clear cuts on the way home....then....	we're home again!	June 8: It's a dog day again!
And we walk up the street finding..	lovely dogwoods and roses.	and flowers we don't...
...even know the name of.	Some neighbors are practicing their .....	...music
Maeple dresses in Ron's sweatshirt.	Then it's out to IKEA for meatballs....	which are on special this evening....$2.49 a dinner!
there are interesting shapes here, there and everywhere!	And funny signs that remind us that the hot dog is NOT for sale in this size!	June 9: It rains.
...so our trip finds plants that are wet.	...and bouquets in stores!
