Beth, we had a wonderful full long day there last year. I couldn't believe I forgot to stick in an extra battery and found myself without a usable camera but had to lug the 5D and several lenses all day anyhow %>(. Took a few pics with my husband's new F30 but finally gave up and just enjoyed the day LOL (hated using just an LCD). As I am a long time organic gardener and former farmer (large sheep and dairy goat flock and herd)--among many other things I've 'been'-- we had a wonderful time. I proudly wear my Maine Organic Farmers and Growers cap down here in NC LOL. This brought back wonderful memories of last year--and it was just at the beginning of our Maine trip.
I agree with one of your other comments--we felt right at home.
