Actually this image does not "look" like an oil painting. Is a pure photograph and a delightful one. However, it does remind us paintings we have seen, such as Diego Velaszquez's 1656 painting of the Infanta Margarita. What makes your image so delightful is the expression. She is so proud to be carrying those flowers, and is struggling to look as serious as they are, but can't quite get there. A wonderfully expressive image, based on incongruity and human values.
