I found your message on the Curtis Gallery with your question re. where to buy an original of this shot. This is one of the most famous and popular of Curtis' photography. He published a limited edition of 500 of these shots. They were originally sold to wealthy individuals and libraries. I would guess that many libraries still have their copies...that's where I photographed these. You might from time to time find originals in the offerings of dealers, but I would expect that they are VERY hard to come by! The best you might do is to have a reproduction produced as faithfully to the original as possible.
If you are really interested in purchasing an original you need to know that less famous exposures sell for $4000-$5000 these days. This more famous one, may be more expensive IF you can find it! Sorry I couldn't do this via email as your link didn't work.
