 July 29 Starts with us oversleeping, but not long enough to interfere with the.... |
 ...journey, and it starts in Maine in the fog. |
 The tobin Bridge gives us a high and mighty view of Boston or part of it. |
 We get to Boston and it's still... |

 It's busy at South Station.... |

 Tony and Ken meet us at the station to... |

 We go thru Renssellear Station in Albany. |

 In Chicago an electrical plant spews....what? Ozone???? Could be! |
 Approaching Chicago it's busy! |

 We detrain on our way to the Metropolitan Lounge. |
 but leave the station to go to Mitchells' for lunch. Ron takes the stairs as I ride the escillator. |
 Outside it's hot and Saturday, so there probably aren't quite as many people around. |

 We ride the observation car in Ohio. |
 Early morning finds us near Lake erie! |

 Some farmer produces electricity for his farm. |

 Flooding in the plains. |
 ....is evident everywhere. |

 Bales of hay dot the landscape..... as do.... |
 Farms require grain elevators... |
 Skies are lovely from horizon to horizon in Montana! |
 They're pumping oil in North Dakota...and they can't find enough workers!! Is oil the answer...and the problem?? . |

 ....Minot was flooded, but is dry now. |
 ...Havre, Montana was as hot as Hell's Kitchen! |
