 I discover a Wiscasset Alpaca farm where.... |

 ...well, as cute as alpacas!! What more could anyone ask?(fiber, wool) |
 Then on the way home, I find a resident female... (turkey, poultry) |
 .....wild turkey who isn't afraid of people AT ALL! (poultry, turkey) |
 Jan. 12: Then yesterday.... (fiber, wool) |
 ....we return to the alpaca farm. (fiber, wool) |
 Where the alpacas are enjoying the January thaw. (fiber, wool) |

 ...we head out to enjoy... |
 ....an old fashioned process and taste of the 'good life' in Maine! |
 The farm is a lovely, old working farm that has been in this family for generations! |
 The public is invited to come in to visit the animals that... |
 ...are part of the family and intimately involved in the farming process...they still use these horses for plowing! |
 An old plow stands nearby.... |
 ...as well as this antique piece of farm equipment. |
 Ron checks out the maple bucket and there's sap in the bottom!! |
 We find this sugar shack in the woods all by itself! |
 Then it's back to the farm ground for a taste of maple butter on bread...YUMMMMMM! |
 We say 'Good-bye' to sugarland! |
 Mar 27 and it's back to the maple farm where... |
 ...the sun is shining and... |
 ...it's time to harness the horses for a trip ... |

 ...buckets are emptied of sap.... |

 ....poured into buckets and loaded into the horsedrawn vats. |
 It's a beautiful day for a walk in the woods. |

 A back at the sugar house, the syrup's aroma is WONDERFUL! |
 And the sky is blue, blue, blue and.... |
 ...the horses are obedient and patient!! |
 But on the way, we stop at the ..... |
 ....alpaca farm where... |
 ....the alpacas are as cute as ever! |
 And this one is particularly friendly!! |
