Boothbay Fisherman's Festival

The tourist season is kicked off in Boothbay/Boothbay Harbor region each year with the Fisherman's Festival--three days of fun and games that bring visitors into town from far away. The festival has the distinct flavor of a small coastal fishing town! Events like the fish relay and lobster crate races are depicted here. Check it out!!

Dear Beth, every year I tell myself I am coming up for the Festival...thank you for the great shots of the days festivities...I especially want to be at the Tall Tales contest at the end of the day....I think that is the name of it....and the blessing of the fleet would be a special point to observe during the day.....thank you for sharing your photos of the day.
