Bears & Wildlife of Knight Inlet, British Columbia

During the late spring of 2010, the Smith family participated in an amazing expedition to Canada's Knight's Inlet, located east of Vancouver near the western British Columbia coast. In all, we spotted eleven grizzly bears, thirteen black bears, countless bald eagles, sitka deer, Pacific white-sided dolpins, harbor and Dall's porpoises and many more critters! One of the high points of the trip was the Vancouver Marmots (North America's rarest mammal species!!!) we encountered on Vancouver Island's Mount Washington! Enjoy.
