Ireland - Wicklow & Dublin, Dec-Jan 2005/6
That black stuff is peat (Mitch is standing in a stream bed) |
Sound of Music, Irish style ! |
Walking along a ridge, we can look down into the valley and more ruins |
Another view of the ruins below us |
 Smile, we're in Ireland! |
In front of the Glendalough River bridge, after shopping at the Woolen Mills. Beautiful B&B here, tho closed in winter. |
As my Italian grandmom used to say, "broosha you teeta!" |
 We're being good, grandmom! |
Walking to the only pub in town in Laragh- a fireplace, a Guinness, and Mitch- I couldn't ask for more! |
We saw Trinity College and a hundred other places in Dublin, and all we have is picture of me, still smiling! |
We stayed at the Handel Hotel, and Christchurch Catherdral (built 1038) was around the corner |
Our very friendly bartender at the very old O'Donoghue's. Lots of live music and laughter in a teeny little place. |
