Biking Budapest to Krakow- Budapest, Sept 2003

Budapest was the first stop on our way to biking from Hungary, through Slovakia, to Poland. We did it with a Slovak company called Greenway Travel Club (www.visitambertrail.com). They do both group and self-guided, supported bike trips; we did the self-guided Budapest to Cracow trip, and it was one of the best bike trips we'd ever done! Equipped with turn by turn directions on GPS, paper cue sheets for backups, and a cell phone, plus visits by the hosts everyday, you're well supported. What an adventure we had! Enjoy the pics!

Susan, These were great pictures. I especially like the pictures of you drinking all those beers, Mitch in the sunflowers, and the 'mummified hand' picture. Also, you look so laid back and relaxed. What fun the trip must have been. Ah memories!
