My Missed Opportunity ;^(

I have been tying to get a good moose shot for quite awhile…I finally find a good moose and he headed straight for the timber and wouldn’t even look at me ;^( If only I would have been there a few minutes earlier when he and a cow walked about a hundred yards though an open meadow…oh well, know I have to go back ;^)

Ohhh, please don't regret this picture! :o I've been looking at moose pics for over an hour now (studying up to do a portrait) and this is one of the best I've seen--like Ms. Landry says, this is a COOL horn shot. The texture is great, I've never seen this sort of detail on the antlers before.

I, also, think this is a great shot -- in many ways better that the "typical" moose face.

Well at least you saw some and know where they hang out...third time will be the charm! It's a nice snubbing profile :-)
